The Class

Are you called to be an evangelist? Do you want to know how to train and equip others to spread the gospel? Do you just want to be more comfortable sharing your faith with your friends, family and coworkers?

The Evangelism Encounter is a 13-week interactive course featuring instruction on evangelism. The class will be taught by several outstanding instructors, each who have dedicated their lives to ministry and evangelism. You will work in a small group setting to master the fundamentals of Biblical evangelism, learning tips from the pros.

You will learn:

The Instructors

Blake Lorenz

Blake Lorenz has been a pastor and evangelist for 27 years. He is a graduate of Asbury Seminary holding a Masters of Divinity. After serving as a pastor in the United Methodist Church, Blake felt the call to start a ministry focused on preparing for the return of Christ. Blake now heads Blake Lorenz Family Ministries and Orlando, Florida-based Encounter Church. He frequently travels to all parts of the world leading crusades and revivals and is coordinator of evangelism for the Zambian Probationary Conference to bring the gospel to Zambia and to the ends of the earth. He is the author of many pamphlets, tracts, and articles and has published a book, "Visits to the Gates of Heaven".

Beverly Lorenz

Beverly is a third generation pastor in her family and holds a teaching degree in several areas of education from Asbury University. She has taught school for many years including elementary, middle and high school. She has a passion for teaching the word of God and seeing people find their identity through understanding who they are in Christ Jesus. Beverly has written numerous biblical workbooks and taught bible studies to both men and women. She is a conference speaker as well as pastors Encounter Church along with her husband, Blake Lorenz.

J. Blake Lorenz

J.Blake Lorenz is the son of Blake and Beverly Lorenz. He is a graduate of Southeastern University and is in the final stages of completing his master’s degree in Middle Eastern History. J. Blake has been a youth pastor and young adult’s pastor. He has served on staff at International House of Prayer in Kansas City as a missionary where he worked with college students on starting houses of prayer on their campuses. While on staff with International House of Prayer, J. Blake traveled to many colleges and universities across America where he has spoken in conferences and small group settings challenging students to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. J. Blake is a recent newlywed to Serenity Lorenz, who is also a graduate from Southeastern University.

Register Online

A $50 registration fee (applied toward the tuition) is required to secure your seat. The tuition fee includes all class sessions. A class workbook will be available for purchase on the first day of class.
